Plated jewellery has a thin layer of metal over a base, this layer can wear down if not handled carefully.
Keep completely dry, water is the fastest way to wear plating down.
Remove before showering, swimming, sweating, or sleeping.
Avoid all contact with perfumes, lotions, oils, and chemicals.
Put jewellery on last, after all products have been applied.
To clean:
Only use a soft dry cloth, no water, no chemicals
Do not rub aggressively, as this can strip the plating
Store pieces separately in a soft pouch to avoid friction and scratching.
