Plated jewellery has a thin layer of metal over a base, this layer can wear down if not handled carefully.

  • Keep completely dry, water is the fastest way to wear plating down.
  • Remove before showering, swimming, sweating, or sleeping.
  • Avoid all contact with perfumes, lotions, oils, and chemicals.
  • Put jewellery on last, after all products have been applied.

  • Only use a soft dry cloth, no water, no chemicals
  • Do not rub aggressively, as this can strip the plating
