Atīkeh / عاتکه means precious, ancient, rare in Farsi. It is the name of my great-grandmother, and this ring is made in her memory. The original design was created over 110 years ago by a goldsmith in our Azeri province of Iran- passed from my great-grandmother, until it reached me. I didn't want to change it. I just wanted to carry it forward. At the heart of this ring sits a 5.5 carat Brazilian peridot Set in solid gold on a substantial signet-style band. This piece is an heirloom in the making.
