Sustainability is a strong focus for Azadi Adornments in a world where fast fashion and unethical practices dominate. Due to this value for sustainability, everything is produced in limited runs, or available on a pre-order basis, to ensure there is absolutely no wastage.

We thank you for your understanding and patience when opting for a made to order item. Our teams are comprised of human beings who work hard to create your jewellery, they work within their chosen hours, and also have all personal & religious holidays adhered to. Your support in embracing sustainable practices is pivotal in reshaping the narrative of conscientious consumption.

Our artisans try to use as many recycled metals as possible to make our products environmentally responsible. All manufactured imperfect pieces or samples are sent back to our metalsmiths to be melted down to be remade into new pieces. All organic matter used in Azadi’s pieces is sourced sustainably- the bone and horn are sourced as a waste by-product of the agricultural industry insuring that absolutely no new demand is created for these materials.

The boxes your pieces are posted in are made from FSC certified 100% recycled materials.

FAIRTRADE CERTIFICATION

Every Azadi Adornments piece has been expertly handcrafted with love, ensuring an ethical practice every step of the way. Our mission is a responsible and TRANSPARENT supply chain that promotes trust in your support.

Our team in Jaipur is part of SETU, a certified fair trade organisation that endeavours to act as a bridge between the underprivileged/marginalised artisans and the international/affluent markets, whilst at the same time, working for social, economic and environmental well-being of the artisan communities. Fair trade practices are used to give the team of artisans that we have employed with self sustainability, self- confidence, and pride in their quality of work. SETU Fair Trade works to help improve the overall state of development in the artisan sector in India, in terms of health care, education, and infrastructure.

Our teams in Bali are paid fairly, and work in safe conditions- they are paid a minimum of 4x the legal minimum hourly wage in Indonesia. We have been working closely with these two teams since the start of Azadi in 2019, and were able to help them closely through the COVID 19 economic crisis, ensuring that they were supported and in constant employment through the duration of this period.

Join us on this journey towards a more sustainable future, where the beauty of our creations harmonises with the well-being of the Earth and its all of its people.

Thank you for being a part of our mission.
